Permits are issued by the Uttarakhand Forest Department. Rates are indicative and change seasonally.

How Safari Permits Work
- 1 Pick your zone and date (advance booking opens 45–90 days ahead).
- 2 Choose jeep (private) or canter (shared) safari.
- 3 Book through the official Uttarakhand Forest Department portal.
- 4 Carry a government ID — it is mandatory for entry.
- 5 Reach the gate 45 minutes before your scheduled safari.
